The first production of Dotty Dot: A New Musical was February 1, 2008 at the Studio Theater at Point Park University in collaboration with the Experimental Theater Project. It was directed by Travis Kendrick and Ashley Laverty; the musical director was John Wascavage; the costume designer was Gina Tomkowich; and the stage manager was Jillian Resnick. The cast was as follows:
